Are you a teacher, a former teacher or someone who is passionate about writing? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you!

UCP is looking for judges for our "ATTITUDE" -- a Disability Awareness Essay Contest.  Each Spring, 3rd-8th graders in the tri-state are asked to write an essay about a person they know who has a disability, a book they've read, or their own observations and feelings about attitudes toward people with disabilities.

The purpose of the "ATTITUDE" Essay Contest is to encourage awareness among elementary and middle school-aged children about how the attitudes of others toward people with disabilities can serve as barriers or bridges to their achievement and well-being.

All essays are reviewed by our judges on the basis of creativity, originality, quality of writing and understanding of the issue.

If you would like to join our panel of judges please contact Lisa Brown at 513-221-4606 or by email at lmbrown@ucp-cincinnati.org.
